How Do I Report A Service Outage?
Please call 1300 587 623 for our 24/7 Helpdesk. Please have your customer number and site details available for the operator.
If the outage is not related to Active Utilities service and is outside of the network, the operator may provide you with the details for another provider to call.
Typically, these contact numbers are found on your bill. Please do not report outages via email.
What should I do in a power outage?

- Check your neighbours to see if they’ve also lost power.
- Check your switchboard and reset any tripped circuit breakers.
- Stay well clear of any fallen powerlines as they should always be treated as live and dangerous.
- Only open fridge and freezer doors when absolutely necessary.
- Check your electric gates and garage doors for manual override.
- Switch off and unplug sensitive electrical equipment. Use generators with caution and only to power appliances directly.
- Check your security alarm manual for instructions on back-up battery power.
- Check your distributor’s website for any outages.
